For breakfast I ate half a slice of leftover Papa John's The Works pizza with scrambled egg. I had a cup of coffee with cream and sugar to drink. My estimate that this breakfast was 300 calories.
On my way to work, I had a snack of Cheetos Salsa con Queso. I only ate 21 (not the whole bag like I would have done before) this was 150 calories.
For dinner, I had a Jimmy John's #4 (Turkey Tom) which was 514 calories.
9/28 is my "mother-in-law's" birthday. We had tres leches cake and 2 types of Edy's ice cream. I'll leave it at that. The next birthday in our house is Loro's birthday. There will be a little break from birthday cakes.
These jeans I wore today were easier to fasten. Still a little tight but they are skinny jeans, so yea. I don't remember if I posted the last pair of jeans that slipped on nicely. I got a little room in those! Yay!

9/27/12 - What I ate
Breakfast: I had a corn tortilla with one egg, a slice of quesadillia cheese and a slice of ham. To drink I had a cup of coffee with cream and sugar. I'm going to estimate that my breakfast was around 500 calories.
Snack (on my drive to work): I ate a Strawberry Banana yogurt. I don't remember how many calories it was but I know it was over 100.
Dinner: I had a chicken thigh (without the skin), a little more than 1/2 a cup of rice, 1/2 cup of mixed veggies & potatoes and 1/2 of a small avocado. My estimate that my dinner was around 700 calories.
While watching the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy I ate a Butterfinger pumpkin which was 160 calories.
I didn't drink a sip of soda all day and had water throughout the day. Not the recommended 8 glasses but I'm drinking more water than I use to.
I'm aiming to get 1300 - 1600 calories or so a day to lose weight while doing light exercise. Today I ate about 1460 calories.
I did 40 minutes of dance/aerobics by watching videos on YouTube. I'm working to get to an hour of movement whether it be Zumba videos, walking in place (and around living room) while watching tv or walking outside.

What's on my brain Thursday, September 27, 2012
1. I want to throw my phone at the wall. Out of nowhere it just stopped working. I wonder if it is my Noom app that's killing my phone? That was the last app I used and then my phone just shut off. Even after putting it on the charger, I have nothing. This is terrible because I need to have my phone for my job. Know what makes it worse? I just got my Samsung Intercept replaced last month because it stopped sending and receiving text messages and completely froze up on me. Then last week I could not place or receive calls and had to do a hard reset. Now this...ugh!
2. Although I haven't been blogging (partly due to my phone being dumb) I have continued to eat light and I'm happy to say I have lost 7 lbs!
3. I just got off the phone with Virgin Mobile. They are sending me another replacement phone.
4. I'm wondering if I should install Noom on my phone when I get it. I've had to start over twice with it already. Instead of using that app as my food journal, I'll use an actual journal and continue to use myfitnesspal.
5. I cannot wait to be able to get a updated phone. I'm thinking about either the HTC One V or Samsung Galaxy Reverb. My Samsung Intercept is so behind the times, it's still running Froyo (OS 2.2 for Android).
6. I started with a new kiddo today. I'm really excited.
7. I'm also excited that a new season of Grey's Anatomy starts tonight! Woo!! That last season finale was traumatic.
8. Next month is my 5 year anniversary with Loro. I wish we could spend it at Food & Wine Festival at Epcot but that's a no go.
Well, that's enough random thoughts. I need to go catch up with my Google Reader.
Chat with you later,

Today was the day that I finally had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season! Only problem I'm so use to ordering my drinks as is, I forgot to remind my boyfriend to tell them skinny or with 2% milk. At least I didn't have any whipped cream on it. We also ended up with two extra drinks today. One was this promotion they were running buy 4 get 1 free. My boyfriend ordered a Mocha Frappuccino instead they gave him a hot Mocha Latte. When we told them we asked for a frap, they said to keep the latte and they'll bring a frap out to the car. So the extra latte I'm saving for breakfast tomorrow, but by that time it'll be a cold latte. I don't know if I'd want to reheat it.
Anyways, so for breakfast I had the yummy Pumpkin Spice Latte, with a 1/3 of a cheese struessel muffin. Then my MIL made surrullos. They are made with cornmeal, stuffed with cheese and is somewhat bigger than a hush puppy. Worst problem is that these are fried, but good news, I only ate one! I skipped lunch and opted for a glass of water since my breakfast was calorie heavy. For dinner, my MIL made chicken soup. It took so much restraint to not go back for a second bowl.
I hate to admit it but I caved and had 1/4 of what I ate originally but this time all the chicken and potatoes were gone. My MIL asked if I wanted to have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow and I said sure. So tomorrow, I'll have another bowl but just the broth.

September 12, 2012 (WIAW)
breakfast: 1/2 cinnamon roll with coffee
lunch: pizza with water
dinner: pork rib (which I didn't eat all of, YAY), rice (size of my fist) & beans, squash and veggies
As far as my work out for today goes, I did about 100 steps (on and off a high step) while at work. When I got home from work, boyfriend and I took Toro for a 10 minute walk then I came inside and danced for 15 minutes.
I noticed I had some weird breakout on my face. I don't use facial makeup so I don't know what it could be. I haven't even been wearing blush lately.

September 11, 2012
Breakfast: media noche bread and coffee
lunch: hard broiled egg (1), coconut macroon (1) and water
dinner: 7 fried shrimp, 10 takis (corn chips) and a plum with coconut water
snack: coconut macroon (1) water
I walked for 16 minutes today and then danced for 14. The dance I did was a routine that the dance team I was on does every year. It's tradition. I've been searching on YouTube for the past few years seeing if it popped up and it finally did. I replayed it 4 times and tried my best to follow along. Can I just say, I miss the stamina I had in high school. I remember we used to have to do that routine more than 4 times in a row and it didn't phase me at all. Today even though I wasn't doing the routine full out, I still broke out in a sweat. I'd love to get my kicks up that high again. Especially with me watching the new season of Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team 7, I really wish I was in shape.
I don't have a picture of a hero, and being that today is the anniversary of the tragedy that happened 11 years ago, I think it's only necessary to pay tribute to the heroes of the day with a manicure I did on my other blog.

Breakfast: Hard broiled egg, 4 ritz crackers, 1/4 of muffin and coffee
Lunch: Brat on sliced bread (1) with lettuce, sauerkraut, onions and tomatoes with coffee to drink
Dinner: Grilled Chicken sandwich (homemade) with lettuce, tomato and purple onion and homemade fries with Coke Zero to drink.
I weighed myself today. It would seem that I lost 3 pounds! Of course, when I had weighed myself and saw that it was higher than expected and declared it time to get serious, I weighed myself late at night (probably after a heavy meal). Nevertheless, I'll take it.
AND I worked out! Now although I don't have a step or hand weights I did move and work up a sweat. I lasted about halfway through before I felt like I just couldn't do another step. Then when I was watching Switched at Birth, I did the Commercial Break Workout. Well I did the first 3.
And as far as the September Photo Challenge...here's day 10 black & white.
Ignore the fact, that I dressed my pup up in a shirt I decided to get rid of.

Chinese.
I only ate once today. We had Chinese food around 2:30pm. That was the ONLY meal I ate. Whoo me! Now granted it wasn't the healthiest choice but hey I never promised to only eat healthy choices. I just want to eat less and drop some pounds.

cheater cheater big fat eater
I've cheated on my light eating so much this week. I haven't really updated much because I feel guilty about how I've been eating.
It's so hard. I love food. My boyfriend and his family know I love food. It's not getting easier. It's not in our budget to buy separate food for separate meals. Sure I made little adjustments here and there like choosing fruit over fries. I need to do more. I really need to eat less. AND EXERCISE! I need to make time.
I hate the way I feel when I can't button up my pants. Or how I know I should toss out a bunch of old clothes because I know I can't wear them anymore but it's hard. I'm struggling. I need self-control.
Today for breakfast/lunch I ate a slice of leftover pizza with scrambled eggs on top and for a drink I had orange juice.

photoadaySept 2
I don't live near my dad and he really doesn't like having his pictures taken. Here are 2 pictures of my Dad and me that I scanned when I was staying over my aunt's house.

As far as light eating goes, we celebrated my boyfriend's niece's birthday today. I tried to keep it reasonable.
Breakfast: 1 Krispy Kreme glazed donut (in total from the dozen we bought yesterday, I only had 1 1/2) with coffee
Lunch: Ham and Cheese sandwich
Dinner: 2 grilled brats with lettuce, tomato, onion and sauerkraut
dessert: 1 slice of cake

Day 1 of photo challenge calls for you, now. THIS is what I look like NOW. I hope next year I am skinnier or have a good excuse for being fat ;)
Speaking of which, here's what I ate today. Not one good choice but all appropriate amounts.
Breakfast: McDonald's Sausage McGriddle with hash brown and OJ
Lunch: Surullio (1)
Dinner: CiCi's Pizza Buffet (only 1 cup of Dr Pepper)
Also, we bought Krispy Kreme donuts but I did not eat one today.
I'll end this post with me saying good bye to a shirt I was hoping to fit into again one day. I probably should have got read of this a long time ago but I hate letting stuff go. At least I know it'll be in good hands. I passed it to my boyfriend's niece.

We ordered dinner out tonight from this local restaurant that has AMAZING burgers. Now usually I'd get some burger loaded with a whole bunch of extra stuff and fries, then split an appetizer with Loro but today I got...
