nsync fans united

I remember back in 02-03, I was an active participant on the nsyncstudio message board. As I was looking back on my old live journal and thinking back to the friendships developed over a common obsession for *nsync, I began to miss chatting openly with other fans who still loved nsync - i knew there were others out there, I just had to find them. Problem was there wasn't an active community to chat in. I especially noticed this when I watched Justin on SnL and could only chat with others over twitter. It got me thinking, I should create a group where nsync fans can come together, reminisce and dream of a possible reunion. And thus nsync fans united (facebook group) was formed.

Within the first week, I had 55 members and new friendships are forming. Then tonight before I logged off, one of the members messaged me just to say "Thank you very much!" And she said she was really happy i created the group. That made my night.

I hope my little group stays active so nsync fans all over can stay connected and maybe one day nsync will have a reunion and we'll really have something to talk about the.

This is my place to complain...Well, my day didn't start the way I expected it too. I wanted to sleep in. However, that didn't happen. I wanted to eat bacon, that didn't happen either. Two negatives got me in a grumpy mood to say the least.

Favorite Blogs

So I made a page dedicated to my favorite blogs I like to read, yet it's not showing  up at the top. So here's a link to that page.

not what I expected to hear

So getting settled in a new (but familiar) state requires getting a new job. I find it rather difficult to get around without transportation. Who wouldn't especially when you are use to having you're own car. So finding work seems impossible (to me at least) until I was presented the opportunity to work for my boyfriend's aunt. It'll be an easy job and the current commute isn't too bad. I filled out all the necessary paperwork last week, and went to orientation this past Wed. Today, I had to go get the results from a test. Once I had my results - I asked, "What's the next step?" I was more than shocked to hear that I'll receive a phone call in 4 to 6 weeks.

So now, I sit and impatiently wait for that phone call.

There were plenty of moves this year...

Technically, the big changes started last year in June. I was living with my boyfriend and his family but I was a little homesick (for Florida). We were in the process of leaving Wisconsin. However, he gave me the option to go to Florida to be with my family for a few months and then meet him in Puerto Rico when they got settled. He ended up being in Wisconsin longer than expected and I ended up wanting to spend more time with my family, especially for the holidays. We kept in touch everyday through phone, FB, text and skype. In February, I was ready to leave my family and go back to my future family.

I lived in Puerto Rico from February til May. Sometime in April, we all got the itch to leave la isla. For a short time, it looked like we were headed back to my home state (FL) but ultimately we ended up back in my boyfriend's home state (WI).

now it's time to get things on track. We're looking for work and hoping to save up enough to get on our feet and get our own place. Things will be rough but at the end, I'll look back and all the rough times will just be a memory.

Well, it’s Mother’s Day.
It’s not such a happy day for me. I am reminded by the fact that my mother walked away from her three children. She no longer lives up to motherly expectations that I once knew and it’s disappointing that we don’t have a good mother-daughter relationship anymore.
Mother’s Day also disappoints me because I am not a mother and I wonder if I will ever be. I know at the present time that I’m not ready but it is definitely something I dream of. If I ever become a mother, I promise I would never walk away from my children and I’ll cherish every moment with them.
So while Mother’s Day isn’t happy for me – I wish all the beautiful ladies out there lucky enough to be a mother, a Happy Mother’s Day!
