30 day challenge - day 30 (THE END)

day 30 - Who are you?

I am a daughter, a sister, ,a niece, a cousin, a girlfriend, a friend, a college student, a Leo, a Disney Fanatic, a nsync fan, a lover of pink, a blogger, a food addict, Twilight and Harry Potter nerd.

Sadly, I am a procrastinator and sometimes a complainer. All of which I am working to change.

One day I hope to be a wife, a mother and a teacher.

My family and real life friends call me one thing but to others I am ChiChi, and overall I'm just me and that's who I will always be.

Well, it took me forever and I spammed your reader BUT I completed this challenge! To anyone who actually read these posts, THANK YOU,  you are special to me.

30 day challenge - day 29

day 29 - in this past month what have you learned?

I learned (once again) that waiting to the last minute to do my final assignments is not fun.

But if I put forth effort, the instructor can't tell the difference ;)

Twitter friends are sometimes better than in life friends.

nothing else really stands out, is that bad?

30 day challenge - day 28

day 28 - a picture of you from last year and now + how have you changed?
From last year to now, I have lost (but hope to regain) my positive outlook on life. It seems like if something bad can happen it will. I lost looking forward to events because those events don't happen. I've gained more weight. Last year at this time I was living with my family in Florida because I was homesick (for them and Florida) but I missed my boyfriend who was at the time living in Puerto Rico. now I'm living back with my boyfriend and his family. Last year, I was jobless (and I think I was anxiously awaiting Rue 21's phone call) - pissed off all the time for not having my own income. Now, I have a (part-time) job but thinking of picking up another one to get through the holidays. Hopefully next year, I can say everything turned around for the better.

30 day challenge - day 27

day 27 - Why are you doing this 30 day challenge?

I did this 30 day challenge to get in the habit of keeping up with a blog. I've read a lot of blogs that inspired me to use my personal blog. I'm not on the level of those blogs but blogging is fun and that's good enough reason to do it.

30 day challenge - day 26

day 26 - what do you think about your friends?

This is interesting because I just posted on facebook this morning about "friends".
(my personal facebook makes me feel like a left out loser :/ i'd rather check this one. it's funny that sometimes online friends get to know you better than (SOME) of your real life friends. :/)

My boyfriend is the best friend I could ever ask for. He can make me laugh when I am grumpy or sad. I can be my silly, clumsy self and not feel embarrassed. He knows when something is wrong even if I say nothing is wrong. I can talk to him about anything even though sometimes it's like pulling teeth. He's completely supportive of absolutely everything I do. He doesn't judge me. I don't have to worry about him not being there because he's always there. He completes me.

The friends that actually still care about me. I miss them. I miss having "in real life" friends that I can just call up and go to the mall with or have late night trips to Wal-Mart and Dennys. Of course, I'm older and my friends that I use to hang out with are married and have kids  or live on an island and I don't live in the same state as either of them. Even when I did live in the same state, I was busy working two jobs or schedules didn't match up to chill. Regardless, my "in real life" friends are pretty awesome. Although we don't talk often, any time we talk it seems like no time has passed since we last hung out.

My (so-called) friends from high school and work, I have lost contact with besides the occasional facebook message or wall post. I usually don't get that and I'm usually the one to attempt to make contact. Which is why they are called so-called friends. Why does it have to be one way? Why should I put forth an effort if they don't do the same?

My "internet" friends are the best! and pretty damn awesome too. I wish they were my "in real life" friends although they don't live close to me either. They understand having internet friends is almost like having real life friends. I can talk to them about almost anything and they are supportive or offer kind words when they are needed. They are the ones that ask how your day is going.

30 day challenge - day 25

day 25- What would you find in my bag?

Well, I don't feel like getting up and getting my purse and going through it right now. I'll come back to this later. ;)

(again I apologize for the spam of posts - only 5 to go, I swear I won't spam your reader like this again)

30 day challenge - day 24

day 24 is a letter to my parents.

Dear parents,
It would be weird for me to write a real letter addressing both of you together since you are no longer together. I can't believe it's been 7 years. It really confuses me that you, Mom, would leave Dad. What did he do wrong? I don't remember you arguing and fighting. I mean sure, there were the typical little arguments but Mom, what caused you to just decide to leave? Honestly, what did Dad do to you? How can a mother just walk away from her children? Anyways, I don't want to get into that. Not now. I do want to say thank you for giving me a good childhood (you know, before I turned 18). Now that I'm older I realize how rough and difficult everything was. I'm thankful there was always food on the table and presents for birthdays and holidays. I'm thankful that you both weren't druggies or alcoholics. I'm thankful for the weekend trips (even if they were church related, I got to stay in a hotel 4x a year. That couldn't have been cheap.) Although I hated the fact that I was sheltered, I appreciate you keeping me out of trouble. I'm glad I had happy memories. I realize now that although I didn't get everything I wanted, I still had a lot. Even though I never imagined my parents getting divorced, I'm happy for all the memories I have as a child and that's all they will be is memories.

30 day challenge - day 23

day 23- something you crave for a lot...

omg. any type of food. im a foodaholic. seriously, I can finish up a big meal and still think about what I'm going to eat later or the next day. i have a problem.

30 day challenge - day 22

day 22 - what makes you different from everyone else?

I'm a 28 year-old who is obsessed with Disney and still a fan girl for NSYNC/Justin Timberlake. I act like a kid but I want children. I grew up in the church. As a young girl, I NEVER wore pants until I snuck and wore them at school. I have a distinctive laugh. I still throw temper-tantrums like a child. I was born 2 months early on my dad's birthday. I'm obsessed with food but think I'm fat. I don't know how to swim. I'm terrified of clowns. Although Loro and I haven't TTC, I'm afraid that when we do, I won't be able to. I over-stress things that I shouldn't. I wouldn't mind spending a rainy afternoon coloring. I still like to read teen books. I fell headfirst in a gator swamp when I was younger. I'm just me.

30 day challenge - day 21

day 21 - something that  makes you happy

Something that always makes me happy is Disney (and NSYNC/Justin or OTH) but here is a picture of me at Hollywood Studios last year.

30 day challenge - day 20

day 20 - someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

I see myself marrying my boyfriend, Loro. I would love a semi-big fancy (Disney) wedding. However, I'd also be happy with just going to Vegas one weekend and getting married. I just want to be Mrs. Loro. But in the likely event that a wedding isn't in the near future, I still look forward to being with him for the rest of my life. It sounds sappy but he completes me. This is only my second serious relationship but he treats me a HELLA lot better than my ex did. He makes me laugh, he knows if something is bothering me. I know where he is and that he's not out creeping. I can trust him FULLY. The love we have is TRUE love.  I never want to give this love up. Even when the sun doesn't shine and everything is rough, we have each other and together we'll get through whatever comes our way. Te amo Loro, ahora y siempre.

30 day challenge - day 19

day 19 - nicknames you have; why do you have them.

Well the most used nickname i have is ChiChi short for my real name. I don't remember who gave me that nickname first but a bunch of people have called me that. When I signed up for YouTube, I didn't want to give my real name so I used ChiChi. My boyfriend calls me ChiChiB among  several other (pet) nicknames for me but I tend to keep those between the two of us. <3 :)

When I was younger I tried coming up with nicknames for my friends to call me but at the time, I couldn't think of much besides Ena or Chee. I'm glad someone came up with ChiChi for me.

30 day challenge - day 18

day 18 - plans/dreams/goals you have

plans - attend my sister's graduation in June
get back on our (own) feet
graduate in January and work (volunteer) at a school or preschool
go see In Time next week ;)

dreams - to marry Loro
to have 2 children (I would say before 30 but doubt it would happen before then)
to own a home with Loro in Florida
to be a kindergarten teacher
 to be financially stable
to take a yearly trip and stay on property at Disney (this is probably pushing it)
 to meet my online besties

goals - to earn a Associates and Bachelors Degree
to become a kindergarten teacher
to own our own home
to be debt free

30 day challenge - day 17

Day 17 : Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why

Hmm...that's a toughie. I guess if I could trade lives with anyone for just ONE day, (thinking like a fan girl) it would have to be someone who works with Justin Timberlake, just so I could spend the day with him.

Oh and speaking of Justin Timberlake, guess what... he tweeted me again! Friday night (opening day of In Time) he did another Q&A on twitter. I asked a few random questions and he answered back.
It was so hard to not scream like a TEENIE because I had to act cool because my boyfriend (and his mom) was in the room with me. Yet, I was still cheesing BIG TIME causing my boyfriend and his mom to tease me.

30 day challenge - day 16

Okay, so I don't know what happened but I fell behind on updating the 30 day challenge. So since I have plans on doing a new challenge (that failed on my beauty blog) I want to finish this challenge up so here is a flood of posts to make up for the missing 15 days (starting with day 16)

day 16 is a picture of yourself

This pic was taken October 14.

National Feral Cat Day

Browsing tumblr or twitter last night I came across a post about The Teal Nail Project, I followed the link in said post and came upon Teal Cat Project. In short, National Feral Cat Day is about promoting Trap-Neuter-Return. When my family adopted cats back in 2004, a major part of the adoption agreement was to make sure that we would get our kitties spayed or neutered to prevent more kittens not having loving homes and being abandoned on the street. I am not a cat owner anymore but in support of this I painted my nails.

Woman of the house.

So this week my boyfriend had to go out of town with his mother for business. I stayed home because of school and to help out his father, since it is difficult for his father to travel.

So plus side - I'm in charge of all meals and can clean when I want with no judgement or whatever. Negative side - I miss my boyfriend terribly.

Now you wouldn't think I'd be this emotional over the whole thing because this time my boyfriend and I were living apart because I missed my family and he couldn't leave his family. But no, I was extreme emotional. Probably over-emotional even. At the moment, I feel bad for being upset about my boyfriend being gone for a week when some of my friends are going through bigger things. I think the thing that upsets me the most about him being away is that I can't just pick up the phone and call him because 1) I don't have my own phone with unlimited minutes and 2) he's extremely busy and it's hard for him to pick up signal where he is at. Before when we were apart, we could skype, text and talk unlimited as much as we wanted. I hope they finish up their business early so they can come back early.

I've been having fun cooking though. Yesterday, I made stuffed peppers, arroz blanco and Puerto Rican style beans (they tasted almost like my "MIL's"). Tomorrow, I'm planning to make either Lemon Pepper Chicken or Shepard's Pie.

Friend friday

Ive had an idea for a post, friend Friday. Just talking about my friends. On line and real life friends. Today I wanted to start off with some of my twitter-besties. I'll post all the names as soon as I get to the computer. Just wanted to have it posted up on Friday.
